We can provide childcare for events, weddings, parties, company functions, and so much more.

Event packages are available upon request (Games, Toys, Crafts, Pop Corn Machine, Slushy Machine).

Event Rates
We offer child minding at various types of events (Weddings, Holiday Parties, Corporate Events, Music Festivals, Pool Parties, Tournaments, Funerals,...)
Nanny Wages
Depending on your Event, amount and ages of children, we might recommend additional Nannies.
Agency Fees
All agency fees are subject to tax and are included in the prices below.
Booking fee
Booking fee is per Nanny and Date.
Other Charges
Paid directly to the nanny.
After Midnight Premium
Hours worked between 12am - 6am
Overtime
Overtime applies to all shifts longer than 8 hrs
after 8hrs (Nanny Wage +$5/hr)
after 10hrs (Nanny Wage +$10/hr)
after 12hrs (Nanny Wage +$15/hr)
Holidays
Honored holidays are:
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
- Boxing Day
- New Year's Eve
- New Year's Day
Parking fee
Where parking tickets are required the nanny will provide the Client with the receipt. The nanny will always try to park for free or in the cheapest parking lot possible.
On-Duty Travel Expense
If the nanny transports your child/ren in their own vehicle (based on “Reasonable Allowance Rate” of BC)

Travel compensation
Travel compensation for locations outside our regular service area (Lake Country to Peachland), please inquire if not listed.

- Summerland - $40

Payment Options
- Please pay your nanny directly by cash or e-transfer at the end of each date booked. Nannies will provide a receipt upon request.
- Agency fees are paid by credit card, please contact an agent to pay via e-transfer (additional $1.50 applies).
Cancellation Policy
- Booking fees are non-refundable. A cancellation fee equivalent to 3hrs of nanny wages will be applied to all bookings that are not cancelled 24hrs prior to the scheduled start time. Cancellation fees will be automatically charged to the credit card used at the time of booking. The cancellation fee is to cover our minimum 3hrs of nanny wages for the cancelled booking.
- In the unlikely event that your nanny needs to cancel your booking due to illness or unforeseen circumstance, we will endeavour to provide alternate care, however, Nannysitters cannot be held responsible for any wages lost or expenses incurred.
- Nannysitters Placement Agency will not be held responsible for any losses resulting from our inability to provide service due to either nanny or family expressing any COVID-19 symptoms.
- We understand that plans can change! We are happy to pass along any requested changes to your booked nanny.
- If the change is made within our regular cancellation window as stated above but results in the nanny losing more than 2hrs of the time they committed to originally, staying more than 1hr later than they committed to originally, or if they are unable to arrive earlier due to prior commitments, then they have the right to decline the shift and we will make every effort to find a nanny to fulfill your newly requested time.
- If adjusting the start-time earlier after our cancellation deadline has passed, please understand that your confirmed nanny may be unavailable. If this results in you requiring another nanny to fill the shift, then our cancellation fee will apply if we are unable to offer another shift to the nanny who was originally assigned to you.
- If adjusting the start-time later after our cancellation deadline has passed, you will be expected to pay the nanny from the time they were originally booked for.
